Our Home
We are a veteran family who live on a small homestead in Lakebay, Washington. Our schnauzers are raised on our farm with many different sounds and smells bringing back the original purpose of the breed for its wonderful function as a family and farm dog. Our dogs do very well in obedience and barn hunt.
Why a Schnauzer?
My interest in the breed started originally with a mini schnauzer growing up. While being on a farm, having a working dog fits our lifestyle best. We welcomed our first standard schnauzer when living in Germany, nine years ago.
Competing and Health Testing
The Standard Schnauzer breed is very important to us and even more so with keeping to the black coat of the Schnauzer. To begin with, we health test our dogs and their tests can be found on the ofa.org site. I also have their certificates from OFA to show proof of our health testing. Moreover, we love our sports. We have chosen barn hunt as our favorite. We also show our dogs in conformation.
